Colleen Galvin, founder of Taylor’s Preschool, opened her business in January of 1998. Originally based in Orange County, California, Colleen named the business after her youngest daughter Taylor Galvin.
Stepping away from her career to stay home with Taylor, Colleen was able to create an environment not only fit for her daughter, but for other children to share. This was the beginning of a new career, cementing her passion for children and early childhood development.
Colleen takes development seriously, finding an outstanding balance between education and fun. Offering a full Preschool and TK Curriculum, Colleen prepares her children for success as they enter kindergarten with advanced skills.
Colleen has relocated Taylor’s Preschool to East Mesa after two decades of building relationships in Southern California. She is excited to build a new community here in Arizona!

FAQs
How many children do you care for?
The state of Arizona limits home-based daycare’s to only 10 children per household, therefore that is our capacity. Rest assured we follow regulations so your child will be well taken care of and will receive a lot of individualized attention. We are very selective on who we bring into our preschool.
What are your hours of operation?
Our typical hours are 7:00am - 5:15pm Monday-Friday with the exception of certain holidays. Should you find yourself needing specialized hours, we make exceptions on a case by case basis. We will do everything we can to accomodate your needs should you ever need to drop off early or pickup late.
Are you licensed, trained and certified?
Yes. We have been licensed childcare provider for 24 years, focusing on ages 0-6 years. We are CPR certified and trained. We offer a comprehensive preschool and TK curriculum that is proven to be a successful foundation for children as they enter kindergarten and grade school.
Will you help me potty train my child?
Yes. We have helped potty train hundreds of children and trust us, parents absolutely love that we have such experience. We know it can be difficult, but we are here to help. Ask the countless parents who we have helped and they will tell you all you need to know. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!
What is your holiday schedule?
We are open on the majority of holidays should you need childcare. That said, we do require all families commit to paying for 52 weeks of the year to allow for our personal vacation time. We will go above and beyond for you all year, and we feel our own paid vacation time is warranted.
